What are your hours?
We are open seven days a week. Mondays - Saturdays from 9 am until 5 pm. Sundays from 11am – 5 pm. The museum is closed New Year's, Thanksgiving and Christmas Days.

What is the admission cost?
The price for adults and children age one and over is $15 per person. Children under one are free. For groups of 15 or more, there is a discounted price of $10 per person (reservations are required for groups of 15 or more)

Where is the museum located?
The museum is located at Memorial Hall in Fairmount Park, 4231 Avenue of the Republic, Philadelphia, PA 19131.

How do I get to Please Touch Museum®?

What is the age range for the museum?
The museum’s activities, exhibits and theater programs are designed for families with young children. The museum offers four areas designed specially for children 3 and younger. Our exhibits and programs provide your entire family with a fun learning experience!

Is there parking?
Yes! Please Touch Museum has its own designated parking lot located directly next to the museum. Parking is $5 per car with museum admission and free for members. If our lot is full there is on street parking around the museum as well.

How long does it take to go through the Museum?
Because every child is different, it’s difficult to put a specific length of time on your visit. Your child may spend 1 hour in one exhibit alone! We advise giving yourself 2 – 3 hours.

Where can we eat?
The Please Taste Cafe is located in the museum on the first floor. Our café offers a variety of healthy bites for the whole family and is a welcoming spot to grab a snack or enjoy lunch. All of our café food is prepared in a nut free environment.

How do I book a party/group reservation?
Please visit the Group Visits section of our web site to check out the different reservation options. If you are already aware of what type of reservation you would like to make, please call (215) 581-3168 or (215) 581-3170 and ask for Reservations.

Please visit the Membership page on our site! It will list the benefits of museum membership including free parking and a variety of discounts in the museum. You may also sign up for Membership on our secure site.

Is the Museum handicap accessible?
Yes! The entire museum is wheelchair accesible, including restrooms, carousel and the cafe.

What kind of exhibits do you have?
All of our exhibits are interactive and designed for families with children ages seven and younger. Please visit the Exhibits page of our web site to find out about each exhibit.

Please Touch Museum® has served the community for more than 10 years. Does the Museum have any discounts?
Yes, Please Touch Museum offers a variety of discount offers including AAA. If you have questions about discounts, please call (215) 581-3181.

What is your group rate?
Our group rate is $10 per person. Group rates apply to groups of 15 or more and require a reservation. Please call (215) 581-3168 or (215) 581-3170 and ask for Reservations.

How can I get to Please Touch Museum® by SEPTA?
There are 4 buses that make stops accessible to Memorial Hall, they are the 38, 40 and 64. These buses all make stops within walking distance of Memorial Hall. Bus route 38 stops directly in front of the museum. To find the best SEPTA route from your exact location visit http://septa.com and click on “Plan My Trip,” and enter your location information.

Do you allow strollers?
Yes, the entire museum is stroller accessible. There is stroller parking in each exhibit zone.
